John D. Brenner

John David Brenner, 51, of Francisco, Indiana passed away at 12:15 am, Friday, February 27, 2009 at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

John was born August 13, 1957 in Evansville, Indiana. He was a 1975 graduate of Harrison High School. John was a member of Mackey Salem United Methodist Church in Mackey, Indiana. He had worked as an electrician for the IBEW Local #16 for 29 years and served as dispatcher and organizer. John was also the secretary/treasurer for Evansville Electrical J.A.T.C. for 18 years. John was a member of many organizations, which included Lessing Masonic Lodge #464, F&AM, Hadi Shrine, where he was the President of Drum and Bugle Corps 2009, Hadi Shrine Bugle Club, Hadi Mariners Club, Gibson County Shrine Club, Grand Order of the Sword of Bunker Hill, Pocket City Order #82 Evansville, and Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.

He is survived by: His wife of 27 years: Denise (Lone) Brenner of Francisco, IN Daughter: Sarah Ann Brenner of Francisco, IN Son: William Robert Brenner of Evansville, IN Father: William C. Brenner, III of Evansville, IN Sister: Jo Ann Jasper and her husband Larry Robert of Eastham, MA

He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal L. (Shoulders) Brenner in February 2007.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:30 pm, Monday, March 2, 2009 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Matt Malin officiating. Burial will be private.

Friends may call from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday, March 2, 2009 at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel where a Hadi Shrine Walk Through will be held at 6:00 pm and the Lessing Masonic Lodge #464 will hold a Memorial Service at 6:15 pm.
