Andrew S. Wade, 67, of Evansville, died Monday, Aug. 27,2001, at St. Mary’s Medical Center of complications of cancer.
He retire last year after 25 years with the Vanderburgh County Highway Department and had worked at Whirlpool Corp. He was an Army veteran and had attended the University of Evansville. He was a member of the United Church of Christ and served on the council at Zion United Church of Christ. He was a member of Hadi Shrine, Scottish Rite Valley of Fort Wayne, Ind., and the Masonic Lodge in Marion, Ind.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Gloria (Kettelhut); a daughter, Deborah Wade of Evansville; and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Zion United Church of Christ, the Rev. Donald Bernhardt officiating, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with a Masonic service at 7 p.m., at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel and from 9 am. to service time at the church.
