Charis A. (Phillips) Bastine

Charis A. (Phillips) Bastine, age 72, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 3:20 pm, Friday, March 30, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.

Born in Eola, KY on New Year’s Day in 1946, Charis was the daughter of the late Willard and Delphia (Sturgill) Phillips.  She married Hubert Bastine and they had 45 years together before he passed.  Charis retired from EPI-HAB Fabricating Company after 47 years of service.  During the last several years, Charis became friends with Mindy and Russ Bittner who loved her from the day they met her.  Their friendship was a true blessing to all of them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Monday, April 2, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Jordan Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.  

Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm, Monday, April 2, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel.
