Danielle Michelle Spindler-Stokes

Danielle Michelle Spindler-Stokes, age 39, of Newburgh, IN, passed away at 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at home.

Danielle was born May 11, 1979, in Evansville, IN, to Danny and Beverly (File) Spindler. She graduated from Memorial High School in 1997 and attended Ivy Tech Community College. Danielle met Christian while working at Gander Mountain, and they married on October 5, 2013. She was baptized at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, had a passion with helping people and children, and loved animals.

She is survived by her loving husband, Christian Stokes; mother, Beverly Spindler; father and step-mother, Danny and Debra (Lents) Spindler; sister, Chastity Axton (Nathan); niece, Emma Grace; grandfather, Gilbert Spindler; mother-in-law, Connie Stokes; sister-in-law, Audra Stokes; and aunt, Linda Mattingly.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Patricia Spindler and grandfather, Robert File, Sr.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Father Bernie Etienne officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. 

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018 and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
