Debbie Lynn (Groves) Chase

Debbie Lynn Chase, age 54, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.

Debbie was born October 23, 1965, in Hopkins County, KY, to James Edward Groves and Carolyn Faye Mosby. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Debbie’s grandchildren were her pride and joy!  

Debbie is survived by her loving spouse, Norman Carter; ex-husband, Scott Chase; daughters, April Groves, Carylone Burton (Todd), Heather Taylor, Hollie Durham (Justin) and Laura Chase; sisters, Kathy Gunn, Donna Groves, Linda Tambunan and Shelley Tielens; brother, Jeff Groves; and grandchildren, Ashawnti, Alleigha, Jerry, Trenton, Hannah, Mason, Tyler, Brooklyn, Hunter, Riley, Madison, Sullivan, Emma and Kamdyn; and many nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Patricia Groves and Lorie Leonard.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 27, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. 

Friends may visit Friday, December 27, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. service time, Friday, December 27, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
