Dennis John Hill

Dennis John Hill, age 70, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at home.

Dennis was born January 24, 1949 in Des Moines, IA, to Wilber A. and Azalea Mary Catherine “Billie” Hill. He graduated High School and entered  Auburn University graduating in 1971, with a Bachelors Degree in Business & Accounting. Dennis attended St. Anthony Catholic Church. He worked in Accounting and later in the Healthcare field. He enjoyed league bowling, golfing, cooking and watching TV. Dennis loved spending time with his family and friends. He was enthusiastic Auburn fan and a loyal St. Louis Cardinals fan.   

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Teresa; daughters, Heather Sargent (Chris) of Evansville, Erin Scrogum (Devin) of Prairie Village, KS; sister, Marcia Herbst of Union MO; grandsons, Thayne and Dryhten Scrogum; and several nieces and nephews.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Gary Heggs, Eddie Heggs and Arnie Hill.

A private Celebration of Life may be held at a later time.
