Dorothy May (Schellenberger) Jones, age 89, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 6:55 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 2019, at North River Health Campus.
Dorothy was born May 13, 1930, in Lanesville, IN, to Thomas Homer and Louise Gertrude (Eve) Schellenberger. She graduated from Lanesville High School. Dorothy especially loved her family and loved spending time with them.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Robin Pelsor (Gus), Kathy Hardesty (Paul), and Laura Rivera (Michael); son, Tim Jones; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Robert Lewis Jones; her parents; 2 infant siblings, 1 sister, and 3 brothers.
Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Lanesville, IN.
