Evelyn R. (Robinson) Smith, 80, of Evansville, formerly of Mount Vernon, Ind., died Wednesday, Aug, 22,2001, at Parkview Care Center.

She worked as a bookkeeper and secretary. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Mount Vernon. Surviving are a son, Jerry Smith of Evansville; two grandchildren, Crystal Martin and Jason Smith; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Smith, in 1991.

Services will be at 11;30 a.m. Friday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Tom Buffington officiating, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, Ind.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
