Gail (Hughes) Frazier

Gail Frazier, age 80, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 5:50 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital Evansville.

Gail was born May 9, 1939, in White County, IL, to John and Effie (Renshaw) Hughes. She graduated from Carmi Township High School in 1957. Gail was a past member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church and a current member of Redemption Community Church. Gail sold Avon for over 50 years. She enjoyed reading and sending greeting cards. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

Gail is survived by her daughter, Monique Beasley; son, Eric (Tina) Frazier; grandchildren, Andy (Stacey) and Jeremy (Whitney) Beasley, and Britney (Mark), Jamie, Ryan (Alexis), Eric and Ethan Frazier; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and brother, Ronnie Hughes (Judy).

She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 58 years, Ray Frazier, who passed away in 2017; son, Scott Frazier; and siblings, Johnny Hughes, Norma Yates, Mary Dagley, Blanche Skelton, Barbara Turner and Joan Clark.

The family would like to especially thank the staff of Heart to Heart Hospice, Dr. Patel, Dr. Stephens and the nurses and staff of 6 East at St. Vincent Hospital Evansville for their care and compassion.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Jason Davis and Reverend Dr. Larry Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, White County, IL.  

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 22, 2019 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service, Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL
