Gwendola Jameson, 79, of Evansville, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2000, at her home of congestive heart failure.
She retired from private duty as a registered nurse.
She was a 45-year charter member of Bethany Baptist Church, member of Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge and a Bunco club.
Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Curtis; two daughters, Suzy Murden of Santee, S.C., and Cynthia Jameson-Hayes of Evansville; two sons, Craig Witherspoon of Oahu, Hawaii, and Terry Jameson of Evansville; two adopted children, Dotty and Richard Young of Evansville; 11 grandchildren, Alicia Brennan, Marc Goodman, Michelle Mantillas, Katherine Goddard, Curtis, Susan and Nathan Hayes and Melissa, Ryan, Kristen and Chad Jameson; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Howard Taylor officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
