Inez Markham Hancock

Inez Markham Hancock, age 100, of Evansville, IN passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Good Samaritan Home.

Inez was born to Erie and Edith Miller Richards, September 1, 1917 in Richland, IN.

She was of Christian faith, graduate of DeVry’s Beauty School, Fifty-year member of Eastern Star, past Matron, and a retiree of Sears.

She is survived by her son, John T. Markham of Evansville, IN; daughter, Janet Covington of Gainesville, FL; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hancock, who passed away in 1992 and daughter, Sharon (Ferguson) Cowderoy, who passed away in 2004.

Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.  

Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time, Friday, March 16, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
