James W. Elliott

James W. Elliott, 75, of Henderson, KY and Grayling, MI, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at his home.

Born March 29, 1942 in Evansville, IN, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Hamman) Elliott.  Jim graduated from North High School in Evansville, IN. He then proudly served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  Jim had a successful career with NCR Corporation and retired as Director of Sales.

Jim enjoyed his time with his friends, playing golf whenever he could, many card games, darts and at 4 pm on Fridays, he could always be found on his porch swing, enjoying a beer in view of the lake. 

Jim is survived by daughters, Robin Curtis (Dave) and Sherri Elliott both of Lansing, MI; sister, Jackie Hill (Jim) of Henderson, KY; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Linda Murray; brother-in-law Jim Steele, grandchildren, Chase Pawlanta, Kelsey and Heather Curtis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Judy (Lucas) Elliott; brother, Gerald (Audry) Elliott; and sister-in-law, Pat Steele.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 pm, Friday, March 16, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Pastor Marcus Daly officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery with the Retired Veterans Memorial Club, VFW Post # 1114, will conduct military rites.
