John La Mar

John La Mar, age 42, of Newburgh, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.

John was born January 29, 1976, in Evansville, IN, to the late Robert La Mar, Sr. and Linda (Henderson) La Mar. He graduated from Castle High School in 1994. John was a Welder and enjoyed his job. In his spare time, John liked to fish, work on cars and watch movies. John was a big-hearted family man who loved his son, mother, brothers and his nieces and nephews. His proudest and happiest moment was when Bailey came into his life. John touched the hearts of many with his smile and his vibrant personality. He was the jokester of the five brothers. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Linda (Henderson) La Mar; son, Bailey La Mar; brothers, Robert La Mar, Jr. (Stephanie), Michael La Mar, Joshua La Mar (Whitney), and Jason La Mar; nieces and nephews, Kyle, Peyton, Natalie, Audrey, and Hunter.

He is preceded in death by his father, who passed away in 2008.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Jason Toler officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.  

Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
