Karen (Kimmel) Longest, age 55, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 11:25 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018, at Select Specialty.

Karen was born August 4, 1962, in Evansville, IN, to the late Charles P. Kimmel, Sr. and the late Violet (Norrington) Biddle. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1980 and attended Ivy Tech Community College. Karen loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Brittney Barr (Matthew Klingelhoefer); son, Shawn Barr; brothers, Charles Kimmel, Jr (Joyce), Steven Kimmel (Beverley), and Daniel Kimmel (Laura); and grandchildren, McKinzie Barr and Justin Barr.

Funeral Services will be Private.

Arrangements are being handled by Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.
