Margaret A. “Peggy” Hart, 86, of Evansville, died of complications of marfan syndrome Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
She had worked as a Vanderburgh County public health nurse. She had also worked for Gertha’s Nursing Home.
She founded the Indiana Chapter of the National Marfan Foundation in Evansville.
She was a volunteer teacher of medical students under the direction of Dr. Ray Nicholson.
Surviving are two sisters, Marjorie Hickman of Paoli, Ind., and Helen Duncan of Evansville; four brothers, John of Evansville, James of Boonville, Ind., William of Newburgh and Patrick of California; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Ted Tern- pel officiating, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
