Mark Boyd Obituary

Mark Daniel Boyd, age 63, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 12:40 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019, at Linda E. White Hospice House.

Mark was born May 2, 1955, in Evansville, IN, to Forest and Pat Boyd. He owned and operated Boyd’s Construction until he retired in 2012.

He is survived by his children, Jearld Boyd (Alice) and Tracy McKinney (Kevin Hess); grandchildren, Mark, Evan, Alyssa (Tyler), Conner, Camron, Collin, Clorissa, and Kenady; great grandchildren, Charlotte and Welston; and siblings, Stephen Boyd, Nora Heaton, Sue Thomas, Patrick Boyd, Larry Boyd, Leonard Boyd, Kenneth Boyd, Mary Jean Boyd, David Boyd, Anne Marie Mellinger, Paul Boyd, Paula Boyd, and Andrew Boyd.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his children’s mother, Robbi Boyd, who passed away March 18, 2014; daughter, Shiann Irene Boyd; and brother, Roland Boyd.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Don Swanson officiating. Burial will be Private.

Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time, Thursday, May 2, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
