Martha Hendershot Obituary

Martha N. Hendershot, age 93, passed away at 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Newburgh Health Care.

Martha was born July 7, 1924, in Bedford, IN, to George Hitchcock and Ernestine (Blackburn) Hitchcock. She attended Methodist Temple. Martha was a homemaker.

She is survived by daughters and sons, Ellen Hendershot, Rodger Hendershot (Pat), Keith Hendershot, Sharon Hendershot, and Shirley Klaus (Dean); one sister; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Eugene Hendershot; one sister; and 3 brothers.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be private. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.
