Mary (Roberts) Barr

Mary Barr, age 72, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 8:20 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2019, at Linda E. White Hospice House.

Mary was born June 14, 1947, in Evansville, IN, to Richard and Flora (Dill) Roberts. She graduated from Central High School. Mary was a life member of the VFW Post #1114 Ladies Auxillary.  She was a homemaker who loved crossword puzzles, cooking, animals and playing Bingo.

Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gary L. Barr, Sr.; sons, Gary L. Barr, Jr. and Arron Barr and his wife, Ginger; brothers, Ricky Roberts and James “Shorty” Roberts; and grandchildren, Tristin Barr and Brianna Reif.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Flora Roberts; sisters, Norma Marshall, and Janet Edwards; and brother, Jeff Roberts.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery.  

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until time of service, Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
