Mary E. “Libby” (Hall) Waters, 74, of Evansville, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at her home of cardio obstructive pulmonary disease.
She worked for 32 years for the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corp. as head custodian of North Annex.
Surviving are 10 daughters, Beverly Carwile, Nancy Smith, Mary Scarbrough, Debbie Huggins, Carla Davis, Carol Morris, Kelly Jones-Waters and Cathy Russell, all of Evansville, Lucile Shehorn of Henderson, Ky., and Theresa Yingst of Edgewood, HI.; five sons, Jimmy, Perry, Danny and Brent Waters, all of Evansville, and Joey Waters of Baltimore; 44 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Avy Dolly, in 1999, and by a daughter, Alta Faye Waters, in 1946.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. John Zeigler officiating, with entombment in Park Lawn Cemetery.
