Mary Ann Koenigseker Obituary

Mary Ann Koenigseker, age 76, of Newburgh, IN, passed away at Hamilton Pointe on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.

Mary Ann was born November 20, 1941, in Rome, IN, to the late Ernest E. and Adeline M. (Jarboe) Bubenzer. She graduated from Cannelton High School in 1960 and went on to work as a Bank Officer Supervisor at National City Bank in Indianapolis, where she retired in 2003 after 25 years. Mary Ann enjoyed gardening, decorating, and cooking.

She is survived by her step-daughters, Mary Sue Linker (Bruce) of South Haven, MI and Jennifer Rymers of Fishers, IN; step-son, Bradley Koenigseker (Nana) of Indianapolis; sister, Selma Lewis (Walt) of Newburgh; brother, Charles Bubenzer of Evansville; niece, Diane Tharp (Bill) of Evansville; nephew, Gerry Bubenzer of Evansville; grandnieces, Ashlyn Tharp and Kaylee Tharp, both of Evansville; and beloved step-grandchildren, Shelby Rymers and Sean Rymers, both of Fishers, IN.

She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 41 years, Richard Koenigseker, who passed away in 2012; step-granddaughter, Sarah Koenigseker; and sister-in-law, Ann Bubenzer.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at The Villages of Hamilton Pointe and Heart to Heart Hospice for their special care of Mary Ann.

No Funeral Services. Burial will be Private.
