Michael E. Latham, age 75, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at St. Vincent - Evansville.
Mike was born May 4, 1942, in Baltimore, MD, to Patrick & Mary (Hutton) Latham. He proudly served 2 years in the U.S. Army. Mike was an electrician for 22 years at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was a member of the American Legion Kapperman Post #44 Newburgh, Veterans Foreign War Post #2953, Riverbend, and the Owls Club #30. Mike was the first blue collar board member of the Evansville Jaycees.
He is survived by daughters, Misty (John) Heck & Michaele (Matthew) Cox, companion, Carol Blessinger, sister, Jeannie (John) Houser, brothers, Patrick (Cathy) Latham, & Richard (Joan) Latham; four grandchildren, Brittney (Nathan) Henderson, Courtney (Josh) Heck, Montana (Janise)Halterman, Alexandra Cox, and one great grandchild, Jameson; sister-in-laws, Becky (Richard) Hume, Dixie (Gordon) Bradford-Thomas.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Karla Lee, brothers, John Latham, Joseph Latham, twin James Latham, and William Latham.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018 at American Legion, Kapperman Post #44, 711 State Street, Newburgh, IN, 47630 with Father John Pfister officiating. American Legion, Kapperman Post #44 will perform full military rites. Burial will be Private.
Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018 at American Legion, Kapperman Post #44.
