Robert Donald Coon, Jr.

Robert Donald Coon Jr., age 62, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away at 4:20 a.m., on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Deaconess Midtown.

Robert was born January 10, 1955, to the late Robert Donald Coon, Sr. and Katherine Louise (Malcom) Coon. He graduated from Harrison High School in 1973. Robert worked as a skilled laborer and was very proud to be a member of Local 561.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Debra (Baker) Coon; daughter, Beth Causey (Patrick)  of Newburgh, IN; son, David Coon (Crystal) of Evansville, IN; sisters, Rebecca Baker, Connie Gonser (Louis), and Florence Mitcheltree (Donald); grandchildren, Darian, Berkley, Luke, and Olivia; dog, Ozzie; and grand doggie, Yogi.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Roberta Cole.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2017, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Reverend Dr. Larry Lewis officiating. Burial will be private.
