Ronald O. Baker, 78, of Evansville, Ind., died at 2 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2002, at his residence.
Mr. Baker retired in 1985 as an inspector for R. G. Wallace & Company in Gardenia, California. He was a WWII veteran of the United States Army and served in the European Conflict, where he received many awards and medals.
He is survived by caretakers, Sandy Gardner and Ervin Baker Jr. of Evansville, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred G. and Hazel (Erwin) Baker.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2002, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, with Reverend Ann Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 until 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue.
