Ruth Ball Obituary

Ruth (Mitchell) Ball, 84, of Evansville, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Angel River Health & Rehabilitation.

She had worked at The Evansville Store for 11 years and retired from The Baby Shop. She was a 60-year member of First Baptist Church and the Euvenice Sunday school class.

Surviving are three daughters, Marilyn McConnell and Shirley Manes, both of Evansville and Barbara Shelton of Smyrna, Tenn.; a son, Stanley of Olney, ILL.; a sister, Lorena Buehler of Evansville; a brother, James of Lowell, Ind.; nine grandchildren, Kristi Osbun, Kelly Roth, Kevin McConnell, Jeanna Schwartz, Shawn and Hilary Clark, Darren and Greg Rye and Jana Manes; two great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Her husband, Roy, died in 1985.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sundav at the funeral home.
