Santiago Figueroa, 72, of Evansville, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, at Brentwood Nursing & Rehabilitation of psoriasis of the liver.
He was a self-employed painter and had worked for the Radisson Hotel.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Joan (Wire); three daughters, Dawn Mallory of Grandview, Ind., Ana Mathis of Evansville and Leyda Figueroa Diaz of Caguas, Puerto Rico; three sons, Miguel, Antonio and Jason, all of Evansville; two sisters, Aurea and Carmen Figueroa, both of Caguas; three brothers, Fernando Figueroa and Gilberto Garcia, both of Chicago, and Victor Garcia of Caguas; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Pedro and Anibal.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, continuing at 9 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, the Rev. Ted Tempel officiating, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 5 p.m.
