Sara (Tindal) Jackson

Sara Jackson, age 90, of Henderson, KY passed away at 8:45 a.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018, at Newburgh Health Care.

Sara was born June 6, 1927, in Greenville, AL to the late A.D. and Katie Lee (Rayborn) Tindal. She was an elementary teacher and a member of Gulf Shores Church of Christ in Gulf Shores, AL. Sara enjoyed gardening and loved her family first and foremost.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl J. (Mark) English of Henderson, KY; son, Wilder Keith (Fran) Jackson of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Bradley “Drew” English, Allison “Brooke” Miller (Denver), Katie Haggard (Jerome), and Hannah Medders (Cole); great-grandchildren, Lexie Haggard, Gannon Medders, Fiona Miller, and Josephine Miller.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 50 years, Wilder Jackson; and brother, Dallas E. Tindal.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Pine Rest Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 16541 US Highway 98, Foley, AL with Brother Ray Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Pine Rest Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
