Sarah E. Gorman

Sarah E. Gorman, 80, Evansville, Ind., died at 8:20 a.m, Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Mrs. Gorman retired in 1983 after serving 16 years as a kindergarten teacher at Lodge and Vogel schools. She was a mem­ber of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her hus­band of 59 years, Eugene E. Gor­man; a daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Steve Brownlee of Fre­mont, Nebraska; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Deb Gorman of Newburgh; one sister, Grace Crowder of Elizabeth­town, Tenn.; one brother, John R. Shults of Greenville, South Car­olina; three grandchildren, Sarah Brownlee of Fremont, Nebraska, Meredith Gorman of Newburgh, Indiana, and Madelynn Gorman of Newburgh, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 28,2002, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5330 Washington Av­enue, with Reverend Alan Pol­lack officiating. Entombment will be in Oak Hill Mausoleum.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 pm, Thursday, June 27, 2002, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5330 Washington Av­enue. Memorial contributions may be made to Evansville Christian Life Center.
