T.T. Toton Obituary

T.T. Toton, 79, of Evansville, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at Deaconess Hospital.

He retired in 1987 as an inspector after 25 years with Whirlpool Corp. and had worked at Boone Funeral Home for the past nine years.

He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a 48-year member of Bible Center Cathedral and a member and secretary of the men's Bible class.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Dorothy (Pitts); two sons, Larry and Gary, both of Evansville; a sister, Rosemary Askew of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; two brothers, Harry of Portageville, Mo., and Wayne of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason and Courtney Toton; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, the Rev. Allen Shelby officiating, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park.
