Thomas E. Hancock

Thomas E. Hancock, 71, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 9:50 am, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Linda E. White Hospice House.

Born in Paducah, KY, March 3, 1947, he was the son of the late Charles Ray and Lorene (Hunt) Hancock.  Tom retired from KJ Bradley Trucking in Mt. Vernon, IN where he was the general manager.  He attended Christian Fellowship Church. Tom was a huge fan of UK Basketball, never missing a Wildcats game.  He also enjoyed NASCAR.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Janet (Ziliak) Hancock; daughters, Crissy Hettenbach (Scott) of Evansville, IN, Jennifer Riggs (Richard) of Chandler, IN; sister, Peggy Draffen (William) of Gilbertsville, KY; brother, Joe Hancock (Jean) of Lafayette, GA; sister-in-law, Cindy Ziliak of Evansville, IN; brother-in-law Darrin Ziliak of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Nichelle, Zachary, Sidney, Richard and Caiden; great-grandchildren, Addison, Makynlee, and Jada; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gordon Hancock.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Dale Beaver officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.  

Friends may visit from 3 pm until 7 pm, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel.
