Treva K. (Storey) Price

Treva K. Price, 82, of Evansville passed away at 9:22 am, Saturday, September 30, 2017 at her home with her family by her side.

Treva was born January 19, 1935 in Enfield, Illinois, the daughter of the late Raleigh and Hazel (McClean) Storey and was a 1952 graduate of Enfield High School.  She retired from Citizens National Bank in 1995.  Treva was an extremely active member of Terrace Parke General Baptist Church for 60 plus years.  She sang for 35 years in their “Faith Trio” group.  Treva also served as treasurer and was involved in Women's Missions.  She enjoyed bowling, spending time with friends, and was a long-time University of Evansville Ace's season ticket holder.  But mostly, Treva loved taking family vacations and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She and her late husband, Jim, spent much of their time supporting the activities of their grand kids.

She is survived by daughters, Becky Savage (David), Amy McDowell (Jason); son Denny Price (Rebecca), all of Evansville; grandchildren, Matthew (Brittany), Luke, and Andrew Savage, Evie, Titus, and Manalemo “Mo” McDowell, Samantha Merideth, and Shelby Price, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 57 years, James “Jim” Price in November 2012 and siblings, Evelyn Arvin, Robert, Dorsey, John and Donald Story, Bonnie Clark, and Pat Langford.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue., Evansville with Ruby McDowell officiating.  Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 4 pm until 8 pm, Tuesday, October 3, 2017 and from 10 am until time of service at 11 am, Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Ave., Evansville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
