Velma C. Wagoner, age 90, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 7:30 p.m. on August 9, 2018, at Pine Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Velma was born May 10, 1928, in Clarksville, TN, to Lewis Edward and Olivia (Puckett) Adkins.

Velma is survived by daughter, Joyce Wortz of Evansville, IN; sons, Gary (Nancy) Wagoner of Evansville, IN and Greg Wagoner of Florence,CO; sisters, Dottie Dell and Madeline Almony; grandchildren, Anne L. Spain (Jason), Alexa R. Simms (Brad), Sarah J. Thompson, Dawn Wagoner, Jason Wagoner, and Andy Tallent; and several great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bremer A. Wagoner; daughter, Jan Brenton; 3 sisters; and 3 brothers.

The family would like to especially thank the staff at Pine Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center and Heritage Hospice.

Graveside Services will be private on Monday, August 13, 2018 with Pastor Mike Kough officiating.
