William "Junior" Edwards Shrodes, Jr.

William “Junior” Edward Shrodes, Jr., age 48, of Mount Vernon, IN, passed away at 12:44 p.m. on December 31, 2018, at home.

Junior was born August 20, 1970, in Evansville IN, to William Edward Shrodes, Sr. and Doris (Daugherty) Shrodes. He graduated from Bosse High School in 1989 and attended University of Southern Indiana. Junior worked at Indiana Tube before opening his own lawncare business, Superior Mowing. Junior enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his parents, William Edward Shrodes, Sr. and Doris Shrodes; daughter, Chelsea Shrodes; grandchild, Landon De’Villez; brother, Jason Shrodes; sisters, Kristi Moseley (James), Jessica Apman (Mark), and Jamie O’Dell (Jacob); and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 15 years, Anita Jean (Warren) Shrodes, who passed away in 2010.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Ralph Springer officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.  

Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
