Amanda Marie Huff, age 35, of Evansville, IN, ascended into the green pastures with her mother on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Amanda was born February 10, 1986, in Evansville, IN, to Jenni Lou Wood. She begrudgingly attended several schools, including Bosse High School. She vacationed in Cancun, Mexico, drinking Margaritas with her Momma, discovered her favorite time of day and how to go green! The rest is history. Amanda had a heart that was out of this world and with that came her robust personality. She truly was the life of the party! Amanda was a loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her daughter. She also enjoyed the art of bargain shopping. Amanda was loved dearly by those who were lucky enough to be in her close inner circle and she will be missed dearly.
Amanda is survived by her daughter, Lilliauna Ruth Wood; sister, Audrey Elizabeth Huff; brother, Kyle Huff; close cousins and sisters at heart; Susan Marie “Toot Toot” Glass - Hughes, Genella Ann Mae Glass Taylor and her cousin Andrew Curtis Glass aka Schmoo Moo; cousins on the Wood side of her family, Major, Heather, Wes, Ashley, and Wiley; nieces, Sophia Pearl and Riley Wood; paternal grandmother, Marilyn Marie Huff; many more extended family members; and her estranged father, Randall Huff.
Amanda is preceded in death by her son, Brayden Scott Joiner and several other children who were born directly into God’s loving arms; her mother and best friend, Jenni Lou Wood; uncle Mick; maternal grandparents, Frank and Lillian Wood; and paternal grandparents, James “Papaw Jim” Huff; and niece Hayleigh Collison.
