Anna Lou (Potts) Lantrip

Anna Lou (Potts) Lantrip, age 88, of Newburgh, IN passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Brickyard Healthcare – Woodlands Care Center in Newburgh.

Anna Lou was born October 21, 1937, in Clay, KY, to James A. and Watseka (Vanover) Potts. She graduated from Madisonville High School in 1955. She worked for Western KY Gas Company (Atmos Energy) as an office manager until her retirement in 1998. Anna Lou was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY.

Anna Lou is survived by her daughter, Leigh Ann Guzman (Dean); sister, Zelda Walker (Bud); grandsons, William Dean Guzman and Matthew Lee Guzman; several nieces and nephews; dogs, Toby and Ella; and extended family.

Anna Lou is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Lantrip; sister, Sylvia Flender; and brother-in-law, George “Peanuts” Flener.

Funeral Services will be Private.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville, KY.
