Ashley Nicole Mann, born March 23, 1994, was the beloved daughter of Tracey and Scott Spaeth and James Mann, who fell in love with her at first sight. Our hearts are broken as we say goodbye to our beautiful girl, taken from us far too soon at the age of 31.
Ashley was a rare and gentle soul whose presence made the world feel lighter, warmer, and kinder. She loved with her whole heart. Intelligent, beautiful, creative, and funny. She was an exceptionally gifted artist with a free spirit and an open heart. Her kindness was limitless, and her energy was infectious, her smile contagious, her laughter unforgettable.
She accepted everyone exactly as they were and had a special way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved. As a teacher, Ashley poured her heart into positively impacting the lives of her young students with patience, encouragement, and care.
Ashley was a wonderful daughter and granddaughter, a loving and supportive sister, cousin, and niece, and a truly loyal friend to so many. Her greatest joy was being an exceptional mother to her daughter, who was truly her entire world. Ashley loved her fiercely and tenderly, always present, playful, protective, and nurturing. Always putting her daughter first above all else. She made every day count, never failing to express her love, from good morning kisses and snuggles, to dance parties, ending each day by singing “I Get to Love You” at bedtime from the day she was born. She made every holiday magical and every birthday memorable. She always encouraged her daughter to be brave, strong, and true to herself. Ashley often joked that she felt she became a mother at age five, when her baby sister, Haley was born.
Ashley showed up for people. She loved with honesty, compassion, and unwavering support. She was a light in this world, and her gentle soul left a lasting imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Though the pain of losing her is overwhelming, we are forever grateful for the love she gave, the memories she created, and the incredible beauty she brought into our lives. She will live on in our hearts, in our stories, and always in the heart of her precious daughter Kiley, who carries her spirit.
