Barbara (DeTalente) Meredith

On Saturday, February 23rd, 2019, our hearts were saddened when our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed peacefully to be with her sister and best friend, Phyllis. Barbara Virginia (DeTalente) Meredith will forever be our sweet angel in heaven. 

She was born in Evansville, IN on May 3rd, 1939 to Peter and Selma (Myers) DeTalente. She was the oldest remaining sibling of 18. 

Barbara was a loving wife to Richard for 64 years. She taught her beloved daughters, Dani, Staci and Heather how to kiss boo-boos and give warm hugs to her grandbabies, Chris (Janelle), Brandi (Jonathan), Danielle (Robert), Tiffani, Bea Jai, Isaac and Aleah. She was blessed with 7 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sisters, Doris and Sandie; and brothers, Wesley, Gordon, Jimmy, Paul, Danny and Cam; and too many nieces and nephews to count. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Linda, Kathy, Judy, Steven, Nelson, Pete and Delphine DeTalente, Gayle Redning and Phyllis Stahl.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Bryan Anderson officiating. Burial will be in James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield, IN.  

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
