Benjamin Raphael Crowe

Benjamin Raphael Crowe, age 46, of Evansville, IN, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at home. 

Ben was born November 19, 1973, in Evansville, IN to William Delmar Crowe, Jr., aka “Bill DeMar”, and Linda Jane (Wathen) Yourgans.  He graduated from Harrison High School in 1992 and attended Harrison College.

Ben was good natured, fun loving, and truly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was a talented musician and loved singing piano ballads.  He was also a great cook and loved to eat.  Ben always had a ready joke and/or smile and if he was your friend, you had a friend for life.

Ben is survived by his mother, Linda J. Yourgans and step-father, David O. Yourgans; sons, Exavior R. Crowe (Amber) of Newburgh; Taylor M. Crowe (Krisna) of Newburgh; Connor I. Crowe of Evansville and Joseph P. Crowe of Evansville; daughter, Alexandra C. Kapperman (Sara) of Evansville; brother, William D. Crowe III (Joy) of Evansville; sisters, Suzanne R. Bias of Evansville and Erika R. Kaplan of Plantation, Florida; grandchildren, Ryleigh Marie, Kayden, Bradalynn, and Preston; and many beloved cousins, nephews and nieces.

Ben is preceded in death by his father, William D. Crowe, Jr.; and brother, Michael W. Amstutz.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue. Burial will be private.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
