Beth-Ann Myers, age 59, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital, with her family and friends by her side.
Beth-Ann was born August 7, 1962, in Carmi, IL, to Roger E. Myers and Mary Sue (Fuller) Myers. Beth-Ann grew up attending First Presbyterian Church of Carmi, IL. She graduated from Carmi Community High School in 1980 and went on to earn her Bachelors of Nursing from the University of Evansville. Beth-Ann worked for numerous hospitals throughout her nursing career in the Evansville area. Family was an important part of Beth-Ann’s life. She loved being “Aunt Bammy!” She was a free spirit who loved music and attending music festivals. Beth-Ann was a huge Dave Matthews fan and often traveled great distances to attend his concerts. She was a true Angel #41 who had an authentic way of living life on her own terms. When she wasn’t working, she could be found exploring the outdoors and enjoying nature with her dogs. She was a true Dog Mom. Beth-Ann was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
Beth-Ann is survived by her loving mother, Mary Sue Myers; sisters, Pamela Armstrong-Frashier (Mike), Debbie Ackerman (John); best friend, Jill Turpen (Dan); beloved dog, Davey; nieces and nephews, Liza Armstrong, Kalie Naas (Abraham), Reilly Baumgart (Dennis), and Logan Ackerman; great nephews, Graham, Drew, Chet and Duke; and many friends.
Beth-Ann is preceded in death by her father, Roger E. Myers; paternal grandparents, Felix E. Myers and Nauda (Hon) Myers; maternal grandparents, Ward E. Fuller and Lillian (Miller) Fuller; and great nephews, Joshua Armstrong and Bear Baumgart.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Ernie Godshall, and Susie Dismang officiating. Private Burial will be in Little Wabash Cemetery of Crossville, IL.
Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2022, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
