Bettye Lou Robertson-Dame, age 96, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at River’s Bend of Kuttawa, KY.
Bettye was born July 23, 1929, in Evansville, IN, to the late Fred Settlemoir and Lucille (Snow) Settlemoir. She attended Central High School. Bettye owned and operated Twin Lake Cottages in Grand Rivers, KY for 50 years. She was a great cook. Bettye loved to sew. She enjoyed the outdoors and hiking.
Bettye is survived by her husband, Marvin Dame; sons; Jack Reynolds, Jr. (Rebecca) and Rick Reynolds (Susan); granddaughters, Shannon and Emily; great grandchildren, Andrew, Colin, and Landon; and many nieces and nephews.
Bettye is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Lucille Settlemoir; husband, Jack Reynolds that passed away in 2000; infant daughter, Deborah Lou Reynolds; and sister, Marion Hatton.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery, Henderson, KY.
Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2026, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
