Beverly Carol (Farmer) Bandman

Beverly Carol (Farmer) Bandman, age 81, of Evansville, IN, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. 

Beverly was born at home on January 16, 1943, in Hancock County, Kentucky, to Wilber and Ruth (Keown) Farmer. She graduated from Daviess County High School in 1961. Furthering her studies at Bowling Green College of Commerce, she earned an Associate’s Degree in Commercial Arts in 1963 and was a member of Pi Kappa Beta sorority. Beverly served 17 years as bookkeeper and office administrator at Lone Oak Middle School in Paducah, Kentucky. 

A devoted follower of God, Beverly's love for her family was a central theme throughout her life. She found immense joy in supporting her children’s activities and events, cherishing every moment spent with them. Known for her affection for animals (especially cats), she had many beloved pets throughout the years. Beverly was an active member of Southland Baptist Temple, where she cherished the fellowship and worship among her community of believers. She and her husband, Don, shared a love for Southern Gospel music, often attending concerts together. 

In her free time, Beverly enjoyed playing Words with Friends online and remained engaged with social media, using it to connect with friends, share photos, and spread laughter. Her vibrant spirit and connection to loved ones brought joy to those around her. 

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Tricia (Evans) Sirls (Robert); son, Gregory Evans (Lori); sister, Pat (Farmer) Stinson (Larry); brother, Larry Farmer (Monnie) and many nieces and nephews. 

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Donald Bandman. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Paul Linge officiating. Burial will be Private. 

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
