Billie Jo "BJ" (Hillenbrand) Buck

Billie Jo “BJ” (Hillenbrand) Buck, age 79, of Evansville, IN, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Envive of Evansville.

Billie Jo “BJ” was born October 12, 1946, in Evansville, IN, to the late Eugene Hillenbrand and Georgia (Tucker) Beliles. She graduated from Reitz High School in 1964. BJ then went on to receive her Associates Degree from Barnes Hospital in St. Louis to become an x-ray technician. She worked at St. Mary’s Medical Center up until 1970. BJ was a faithful member at Christian Fellowship Church, where she was active in small groups for over 30 years.

Billie Jo “BJ” is survived by her loving husband of 56 years William “Bill” Buck; daughters, Heather Judd (Rob) and Beth Roberts (Greg); sister, Tanya Schug; and grandchildren, Noah Judd, Logan Roberts and Mackenzie Roberts.

Billie Jo “BJ” is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Hillenbrand and Georgia Beliles.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Tim Judd officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
