Blanche Bufkin Obituary

Blanche Adalene Bufkin, 69, of Evansville, Ind., died at 8:10 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2002, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Mrs. Bufkin was employed at Citizens Realty as well as Prudential Prime Locations Realtors.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard Bufkin; a daughter and son-in- law, Karen and Venance Simpkins; two sons, Gary Brent and Robin Ross Bufkin; two sisters, Verna VanHorn Linder of Salem, Illinois, and Peggy Williams of Henderson, Ky.; a brother, Hubert E. Phelps of Evansville, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at lp.m. Monday, June 24, 2002, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue, with Reverend Robert Nall officiating, burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2002, at Boone Funeral Home 5330 Washington Avenue East Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Evansville State Hospital Patient Fund.
