Bobby J. Nelson

Bobby J. Nelson, age 53, of Evansville, IN, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital.

Bobby was born September 15, 1971, in Evansville, IN, to Bennie Rex Nelson and Jacquelyn Faye (Murphy) Nelson. He graduated from Harrison High School. Bobby owned his own company for a few years, Nelson Flooring, and he later worked for the Union doing Flooring Installation. He enjoyed fishing, working in his yard and doing landscaping, painting and drawing, collecting stamps and coins, watching sports, and cooking. Bobby loved his family and friends, and he especially loved spending time with his girls.

Bobby is survived by his daughter, Reese Nelson and her mom, Julie Nelson; mother, Jacquelyn Faye (Murphy) Nelson; and brothers, Raymond Nelson and Kevin Nelson.

Bobby is preceded in death by his daughter, Jordyn Marie Nelson, who passed away in 2019; and father, Bennie Nelson, who passed away in 2017.

A Celebration of Life and Burial will be Private.
