Bonita Culver

Bonita “Bonnie” Culver, age 68, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 12:48p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023, at home, surrounded by family and friends.

Bonnie was born March 24, 1955, in Mt. Carmel, IL, to Amiel and Nola (Davis) Culver. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1973. Bonnie worked in finance at St. Mary’s Hospital and retired from OneMain Financial. She was a strong, fiercely independent woman who adored her family and will forever be remembered by those who loved her. She was a fabulous cook and always loved to share a meal because there was always plenty.

Bonnie is survived by her sister Sandra Williams, brother Garry Culver and his wife, Linda, brother Ronald Culver (Christie), nephews Jimmy Williams, Garry Culver Jr. (Shay), nieces Lindsey Culver-Dosher (Nathan), Jennifer Culver-Garverick (Jon), and Amy Culver, several great-nieces and nephews, as well as her close friend, John Gammon and his daughter, Claire.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Amiel and Nola, brother, Derriel Culver, nephew, Bryan Williams, and brother-in-law, Kenny Williams.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Andy Payton officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
