Caleb Shaddix Berfanger

Caleb Shaddix Berfanger, age 31, of Evansville, IN passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024.

Caleb was born July 6, 1993, in Evansville, IN to Amy (Payne) Nosko and Michael Berfanger. He attended Harrison High School and graduated from Memorial High School in 2012. Caleb played baseball and was a Cardinals fan from the time he was a little boy. He loved all sports, especially college basketball and the WNBA thanks to Caitlin Clark. He enjoyed all kinds of music and watching reality TV. Caleb was a proud self-proclaimed Mama’s boy and was his mom’s biggest cheerleader. He supported all women and encouraged his friends to love themselves for who they were no matter what. Caleb was very loved by his friends and family, and always brought a smile to everyone’s face. He was a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear even when he was struggling himself. Caleb loved spending time with his girl, Mallory Fehn, and discussing all the Real Housewives. Jay Bryant of Dallas, TX was a very important part of Caleb’s life and he made sure everyone knew how much he still loved and cared for him. He was an extremely caring person and will be dearly missed.

Caleb is survived by his mother, Amy Nosko (David); father, Michael Berfanger; grandmother, Carolyn Berfanger; grandfather, Dale Payne; brother, Andrew Berfanger; half-brother, Ebon’el Berfanger; and step-siblings, Hannah Norfleet (Tommy), Clay Nosko, and Miranda Nosko.

Caleb is preceded in death by his grandmother, Billie Pavey; and grandfather, Jack Berfanger.

Friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel– A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue.

Services and Burial will be Private.
