Calvin W. Stilwell

Calvin W. Stilwell, age 65, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital with his family by his side.

Calvin was born June 15, 1956, in Princeton, IN, to John Stilwell and Dolus (Davis) Stilwell. He graduated from Princeton High School in 1974. Calvin worked as a truckdriver for various companies from 1985 until his most recent employment with K/I Lumber Company. He enjoyed fixing things when they were broken and had several hobbies. Calvin loved spending time with his family; especially when he was joking around with them. He liked to spend time sitting on his deck watching the birds and feeding the squirrels he named. Calvin found it peaceful and they enjoyed his company. He will be missed by those who loved and knew him.

Calvin is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Karen Stilwell; daughter, Mandi Jones (Donnell); stepdaughters, Tiffany Perkins, and Jessica Jones; brother, Melton Stilwell (Brenda); sister, Madeline Stilwell; aunts, Dusty Hamby and Patricia Carrico (Alvin); uncle Paul Fulfer; nine grandchildren; 3 nieces; 2 nephews and 9 great nieces.

Calvin is preceded in death by his parents; and stepson, Daniel Ray Lorenz, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Kris Holzmeyer officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. 

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until time of service, Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
