Calvin M. Williams, age 38, of Evansville, IN, passed away Monday, June 22, 2026, at his home.
Calvin was born October 4, 1987, in Tallahassee, FL to Dennis Williams, Jr. and Jill (Burnett) Mazeres. He graduated from Montgomery Central High School in Cunningham, TN in 2006 and later graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Studies. Calvin proudly served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Hawaii for 4 years as a Geospatial Engineer. He was an avid video gamer across multiple platforms, in which he loved playing with his friends and family. He loved graphic design and creating art in various mediums.
Calvin is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Shawn (Carter) Williams; daughter, Dawn Williams; son, Hudson Williams; father, Dennis Williams, Jr.; sister, Christina Williams; stepmother, Tanya Williams; stepsisters, Jessica Gooch and Jenna Gooch; step grandmother, Nan Groll; and numerous cousins.
Calvin is preceded in death by his mother, Jill (Burnett) Mazeres; paternal grandparents, Bonnie J. Whiddon and Dennis Wayne Williams, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Judith L. Hewitt and Othre E. Burnett; along with numerous aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue.
Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until service time, Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
