Carolyn Lambert Obituary

Carolyn (Light) Lambert, age 90, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 8:20 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2020, at Heritage Center.

Carolyn was born August 31, 1929, in Evansville, IN, to Harry and Sallye (Niednagel) Light. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1947. Carolyn worked as a secretary for The Courier and Press and as a bookkeeper for Kruckemeyer and Cohn. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge.

Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Susie Talley and Liz Rader (John); sons, Mark Talley and John Talley (Julie); 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William “Bill” Talley; second husband, Richard “Dick” Lambert; son, Paul Talley; and grandson, Michael.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor James Culver officiating. Burial will be Private.  

Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time, Saturday, February 22, 2020, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.

Memorial Contributions may be made to: Emanuel Lutheran Church at 308 North First Avenue, Evansville, IN 47710.
