Chad Nelson Biggs, age 54, of Evansville, IN, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025, at Deaconess Midtown.
Chad was born November 13, 1971, in Evansville, IN, to the late Stephen F. Biggs and Sandra M. “Sandy” (Smith) Biggs. He graduated from Harrison High School in 1990 and worked as a sales representative for Nestle. Chad spent every weekend in the summer camping, boating and grilling. He enjoyed playing cornhole with his best friend Eric every Wednesday night. Most of all, he loved being around family and friends.
Chad was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He never knew a stranger and had the ability to make everyone feel welcome. He always had a smile and a story to tell. He was always there to lend a hand or help in any way he could. He touched so many lives and he will forever be missed.
Chad is survived by his loving wife, Chastity (Corbin) Biggs; daughter, Ava Biggs; sons, Christian Helmer (Hanna) and Derek Helmer; sister, Michelle Biggs; brother, Tod Biggs; nieces, McKenna Biggs and Madison Biggs; and great nephew, Zaid Patterson.
Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will be Private.
Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
