Charles E. Crockett, age 83, of Evansville, IN passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024, at home.
Charles was born April, 15, 1941, in Madisonville, KY, to Dean and Ruth (Gambling) Crockett. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. Charles retired as a conductor from CSX Railroad after 33 years. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of Fendrich Golf Club Riverbend Association. He also enjoyed travelling to the Smokies and Florida.
Charles is survived by his wife of 31 years, Barbara S. (Neal) Green Crockett; son, Brian Crockett; stepdaughter, Michelle Sondej; stepson, Mark Green; sister, Shirley Johnson; and step grandchildren, Lexi Sondej, Tia Sondej, and Johnathan Green.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents; and brother J.C. Crockett.
Graveside Services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery
